In ogni caso, è la magnificenza della natura a prende parola: profili sinuosi di grandi volatili si fondono come presenze oniriche all’intreccio di fronde e fiori tropicali, oppure si stagliano su sfondi astratti con la grazia di una danza silenziosa. Nature is an interpretation of the natural world, delineated in exquisitely graphical patterns, incorporating designs of great pictorial value, centred on the material rendering of the colour. In each design, it is the magnificence of nature which takes centre stage: sinuous profiles of large birds melt like dreamlike presences into the interwoven fronds and tropical flowers, or else stand out against abstract backgrounds with the grace of a silent dance. Then there are the fleshy flowers which, through the texture of the image, seem to reveal the secret of their exuberant vitality.
